Trash

View, restore, or permanently delete soft-deleted items.

The trash provides a central overview of all soft-deleted items. Instead of permanently deleting data immediately, items are moved to the trash where they can be restored or permanently deleted.

Supported Items

The following items are moved to trash when deleted:

  • Events - Deleted events with all associated data
  • Contacts - Deleted contacts and companies
  • Applications - Deleted applications
  • Participants - Deleted event participants
  • Tasks - Deleted tasks

Trash Actions

  • View - Filter and search deleted items by type
  • Restore - Restore item and associated relationships
  • Permanently Delete - Irrevocably remove item (requires confirmation)
  • Empty Trash - Permanently delete all items of a specific type

Retention

  • Retention Period - Deleted items are automatically permanently removed after 30 days
  • Immediate Deletion - Administrators with appropriate permissions can permanently delete immediately
  • Invoice Data - Invoices cannot be deleted (legal retention requirements)

Tips

  • Check the trash regularly to restore accidentally deleted items in time
  • Restoration also restores relationships to events and participants
  • Use the filter function to quickly find specific deleted items

Notes

  • Permanent deletion cannot be undone
  • Related data (e.g., participants of a deleted event) is preserved
