Contact management is the central database for all people and companies associated with your events.

Contact Data

The following information is stored per contact:

  • Company Information - Company name, legal form, VAT ID
  • Contact Person - Name, position, email, phone
  • Addresses - Billing and shipping address
  • Bank Details - IBAN and BIC for SEPA direct debits
  • Customer Number - Automatically generated or manually assigned

Contact Features

  • Duplicate Detection - Automatic detection of similar contacts
  • Merge Contacts - Combine duplicate entries
  • History - All participations, invoices, and documents
  • Notes - Internal notes about the contact
  • Custom Fields - Additional data fields as needed

Import & Export

  • CSV Import - Import contacts from CSV files. Supports automatic delimiter detection (comma, semicolon, tab), column mapping, and email-based duplicate detection
  • Column Mapping - Columns are automatically mapped: company_name, first_name, last_name, email, phone, address, city, postal_code, country, category_keys, and more
  • Duplicate Check - Optionally skip duplicates when the email address already exists
  • Default Rating - Set default rating for imported contacts (1-5 stars)
  • Category Assignment - Assign contacts to categories via the category_keys column (comma-separated category keys)
  • CSV Export - Export contact list
  • vCard Export - Export individual contacts as vCard

Tips

  • Use quick search to find contacts by name, email, or customer number
  • Contacts can be assigned to multiple events as participants
  • Custom fields can be configured in Settings > Custom Fields
  • CSV import supports up to 1,000 contacts at once (max 5 MB file size)
