Service Orders

Manage orders for additional services from participants.

Service orders enable management of orders for additional services such as electricity, WiFi, furniture, catering, and other services that participants can book for their booths or events.

Order Workflow

The lifecycle of a service order:

  • Submitted - Participant placed the order in the portal
  • Confirmed - Admin reviewed and confirmed the order
  • Completed - Service was delivered and completed
  • Cancelled - Order was cancelled (by admin or participant)

Managing Orders

  • Order List - All service orders with status, participant, event, and total amount
  • Filter and Search - Filter by status, event, participant, or time period
  • Order Details - View individual items, quantities, and prices
  • Fulfillment Status - Mark individual items as pending, in progress, completed, or cancelled
  • Create Invoice - Automatically generate invoice line items from confirmed orders

Order Items

  • Service - Name and description of the ordered service
  • Quantity - Ordered number or amount
  • Unit Price - Price per unit
  • Total Price - Automatically calculated total amount
  • Notes - Additional notes from the participant about the order

Tips

  • Confirm orders promptly so participants can see the status in their portal
  • Use automatic invoice generation for confirmed orders
  • Fulfillment status can be managed separately per item
